Matthew Charles Moreau, age 17, of Columbia, MO passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in Columbia. He was born on August 12, 1997 in Columbia, MO, the son of Rose and Alan Moreau. Matt was a honor student at Hickman High School and was a sales associate at American Eagle Outfitters.



Survivors include his father, Alan Moreau; his mother and step father, Rose Moreau and Dale Poore; brother, Michael Moreau; sister, Christina Lewis; paternal grandmother, Bernice Moreau; maternal grandmothers, Marie Adams and Shirley (Ken) Holland; aunts, Charlotte Caldwell and Marcia Moreau, Sandy Nolan,...

Matthew Charles Moreau, age 17, of Columbia, MO passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 in Columbia. He was born on August 12, 1997 in Columbia, MO, the son of Rose and Alan Moreau. Matt was a honor student at Hickman High School and was a sales associate at American Eagle Outfitters.



Survivors include his father, Alan Moreau; his mother and step father, Rose Moreau and Dale Poore; brother, Michael Moreau; sister, Christina Lewis; paternal grandmother, Bernice Moreau; maternal grandmothers, Marie Adams and Shirley (Ken) Holland; aunts, Charlotte Caldwell and Marcia Moreau, Sandy Nolan, Angie Marshall and Teresa Poore; uncles, Bart Elles, James Elles, Bill Marshall and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Charles Moreau and Arnold Poore.



Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at Grandview Baptist Church, 8300 North Route Z, Centralia, MO. Visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 pm, Monday, April 6, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be held in Grandview Baptist Church Cemetery. Matthew touched the lives of so many, including family, friends, co-workers and neighbors. His kindness, compassion and gentle heart left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He will be greatly missed and always remembered and loved.
